Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, along with the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help detect spam.
An anonymized string created from your email address (a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to determine if you are using it. After your comment is approved, your profile picture is visible to the public alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to our website, avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors can download and extract location data from images on the site.

Comments: If you leave a comment, you may opt-in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for convenience. These last one year.

Login: Visiting our login page sets a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser.

Session: When you log in, cookies store your login details and screen preferences. Login cookies last for two days; screen preference cookies last for one year. Choosing “Remember Me” keeps your login for two weeks. Logging out deletes the cookies.

Editing: If you edit or publish an article, a cookie with the post ID is saved (expires in one day).

Articles on this site may include embedded content (videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content behaves as if you visited the source site directly.
